Hello again everybody and thanks for taking notice of this update! We have some new changes coming to the story line of our RP group. We will be doing a bit of a jump ahead 3 years when Gilbert Blythe finally finishes medical school and returns home to Prince Edward Island. In the midst of this change, please note that your characters will also be changing as if their lives have just jumped ahead 3 years.
To give you a bit of an idea on what this change will mean, for example, Diana and Fred Wright will have moved into their grand new home "Lone Willow". Anne and Gilbert won't be married just yet, but that will be approaching quickly! He will have to first figure out where he will take his new practice as a doctor.
For the time being our role play will consist of our own ideas along with ideas from Anne Book 5: "Anne's House of Dreams". If you have the means to read or even just skim through this book, I suggest that you do so, though this isn't mandatory. If you have any major ideas for a plot change, please run them by myself first by sending me a DM to the @AOGG_Roleplay account, and as always, any other questions or concerns can be directed there as well. If you're having trouble figuring out what place your character should be at "in life", I would be more than happy to guide you through this change!

February, 2015 - IMPORTANT UPDATE
Hello everyone! We have a minor (exciting) change coming to this group! Our very own Miss Anne Shirley (@AnneShirley65) will be getting her own blog! On Anne's blog she will recount the stories of her week through "journal entries". Rather than do story line updates on this blog, ALL updates will now be posted on Anne's journal - every Friday evening!

January, 2015 - IMPORTANT UPDATE
Happy New Year everyone! We are so thrilled about continuing our story and seeing how it unfolds, and we hope you will be there with us every step of the way!
This post is to inform you of important changes coming to our group. We have now reached a point where we will be continuing the story mainly based on our own imaginations - with our inspiration coming mainly from the books. If you have not read all of the books, don't worry. I would be happy to guide and inform you on any crucial plot changes. But, as I said, for the most part, our RPing will mainly consist of our own imaginations!

October, 2014 ~ 2 year Anniversary ~ THANK YOU!
I'd like to take a moment to thank everyone who is a part of this Role Play group. Including our dedicated followers. Two years ago in October was when I started this unique journey and created the first characters of our group - Anne Shirley, Marilla, Matthew, Rachel, and eventually Gilbert and Diana. If it weren't for everyone who now participates in our well-expanded group, and our followers, this group wouldn't be what it is today - the very way I only hoped and envisioned it might have been at the beginning of all this. I've had so much fun reliving the stories of Anne and it has really been a pleasure. We had a short hiatus during the months of August and September but I hope you all will be happy to start up our normal routine soon. Again, from me to you, thank you so much! PLEASE TAKE NOTE!
I would like to explain where we are currently at in the plot just to spare any confusion within the group.
We have jumped ahead to the summer after Anne Shirley's first year of teaching. Gilbert Blythe is about to go off to medical school in Halifax.
For the sake of the group, rather than having Anne leave also to teach at Kingsport Ladies College, she will stay in Avonlea to teach. We are simply going to bring Morgan Harris to Avonlea.
I have thought quite a bit about this and I feel that it will be the best route to take in our group. It will benefit all of our characters. They can all be included in this and interact with Morgan (and his daughter) and witness his courtship between Anne Shirley. (Gilbert will certainly be included in this too! We'll have to wait and see how the story unfolds.)
Him and his daughter will be "arriving" very soon. I wanted to make sure that everyone in the group was aware of this plot change so that you may all fully participate as you wish. Anne will still embark on many of the adventures that she had at Kingsport, we are just simply bringing them to the village of Avonlea so all of you can enjoy in the fun.
